Have you guys seen the TEDS webcams? http://ellen.warnerbros.com/show/ellencam/ One is pointing to the set, the other says back stage. The backstage one says "coming soon". I first noticed it yesterday (6 Sept 06). So far, I have only seen a couple of people talking(I couldn't tell who they were). I'm looking forward to checking it out later in the day to see if they show rehersals and stuff like that. I'm doubtful that they will, because it might spoil some surprises, but it IS pointing to the set...

OMG!! I am sane!! I am sane! lol. I thought I was the only Ellen web cam addict. I can't stop watching for fear of missing something. I sisnt know this forum was here. It was mentioned on Ellen's blog. So glad I found it. Suddenly I feel so normal. lol. The web cam is really cool.
I think they still have some bugs to get rid of but I am trying to be patient. I too got real tired of looking at the dude's badge.
I got an email regarding my life list from Margaret... anyone got a clue who she is?
I think it would be neat to watch the web cam together. lol. I will try to come here tomorrow during taping to check out the chat room.
I am in Suffolk, VA so we are 3 hours behind.

I kinda thought the same thing when I received the email. I ran around the house screaming...... I woke my fiancee' up and he thought I was in pain, possibly having a heart attack... lol.... I called all my whole family at 1AM!!!!.... and didnt sleep a wink all night. I had my friends, family, and neighbors to practie the phrase MOVE THAT BUS! lol.... I was just so excited. My life list requested mostly home repairs. I think it probably overwhelmed them as it does me everytime I come in the door. You see, for the past 6 years I have devoted my life to my community and trying to dedicate my life to those less fortunate or just unappreciated. I am a professional volunteer. When we moved here (to the home I was raised in) there were repairs that needed to be done and I have never had the time or funds to do them. My bathtub is baby blue! My kitchen sink is avacado!! We purchased a new stove and oven but they didnt fit the holes of the ones we replaced (so my stove is held up by 4 little pieces of wood---lol). My refrigerator started leaking and caused my floor to start rotting. I have 2 doors that lead to nowhere. I could go on and on and on and on......Anyway, I just never had the time or funds to make the necessary repairs. Sometimes I work as many as 80 hours a week on volunteering. So when I got the email I was estatic!!! They requested video or labled pictures even gave me their fed Ex # to ship the video. I emailed them back IMMEDIATELY (lol) with tons of pictures.... that is the last I have heard from them. My request was extreme. I have watched too many "Extreme Home Makeover shows...lol. Anyway, the I saw the couple on there that had lost $200,000 and now I feel guilty. I do have a nice 2 story brick home. Looks great from the outside. LOL! But they dont have that. They are living in an apartment. Makes me wanna start a fundraiser for them. Ellen's staff would probably handle donations. Anyway, it was a great thrill just to get an email from one of her producers. Some people would not understand that, but after reading the comments on this forum, I know that you all will.
The web cam is the greatest! I did not know of this site when I first seen it. But I can relate to all who posted.

issues. Wondering if you could make a home video (FOR SCREENING PURPOSES
ONLY) of all of the issues inside your home? If not, could you take photos
of the problem areas (and label the pictures)?
I can screen material on vhs or dvd. The video will not be used on-air.
It's only for me to get a better sense of the problems inside your home.
