*I hope i`m not mistaken as i didn`t know where to post this. If so, may some of the Mods remove it to the right forum*

My DVR says "Please Have Mercy" ==>> Translation: "Release Me, I`m Broked" LOL.
Anyway, I`m planning to buy a new one, and don`t ask me what`s mine`s type atm is, cos i don`t know what the hell it is, as it wasn`t me who bought it.

Any advices or do you know what`s best to buy or the kind everyone has!!! I don`t care about the price, just bring em on 'means infos'

Or maybe if there`s a better system or a site that i can have a look on!!

wow i sure am sorry about that maybe you can buy one online at Amazon.com or another wesite that carries those sort of things. I hope that helps

It depends on what you plan to do with it.

TiVo's are pretty good. I've not used one, but I have read a lot of good things about them.

I have a couple of ReplayTV's. Those let me transfer shows to my computer, but they are not made anymore and are only analog TV resolution.

Some cable company and satellite companies have built in ones in their tuners although those tend to not be as good as stand-alone ones.

GOD that means i have to go round and round again to look fo for the best.. grrrrrrr I hate that..
I tried to find a site that`d help but couldn`t find one. I tried to go to those companies that offeres such electronics but nothing!!!

And well Tivo`s i`m not sure if we have one here, as i thought it`s only available for the US only. Well have to look & ask tho i doubt it.

Well i want something that i can record things on DVD & then it give me the possibilty to copy the DVD or watch it on my Laptop ..
