Be careful! I've never seen a tornado before, or been near one, but it doesnt sound too safe to be taking pictures! Is it big, is it coming towards you? I'd be pretty freaked out if I looked out my window and saw that!

I've been closer than I would have liked more than once.

Please be careful and get to an interior room with no windows.

Thanks everyone...the Tornado Warning has expired for my county. That was cazy, I have never seen a Tornado so near before. There was this house that looks like it cost $800K that was very close to where we could actually see the funnel cloud touch the ground, but did not sustain any damage. There were people taking video footage and pixs, we never got an tornado siren, it was just crazy!!! Now we have a flash flood alert warning.

Here are pixs of the Tornado in Douglas. This pixs were taken from local viewers (channel 9 news); I was outside looking and talking to my sis on my cell phone. There were actually 2 funnel clouds (unaware at the time), one in Douglas, the tornado on the rught, that's one we were transfixed to.

The last pix is what we actual could see from back on my apt. bldg.
