SCARLETT JOHANSSON
Every day is a celebration for Ellen, especially today! You never know what will happen! She loves surprising her audience with amazing gifts and huge prizes, and today is no exception. Then, you never know what the beautiful SCARLETT JOHANSSON is doing next. Just a few months ago, she stopped by with an amazing singing performance, then she starred in the huge summer movie, “Iron Man 2.” She played a tough and sexy superhero -- and did all her own stunts! She might even have a few moves to teach Ellen! Plus, the extraordinary MELISSA ETHERIDGE released a brand new album and is making a rare talk show stop right here with Ellen! She’ll give an unbelievable performance of her hit song, “Fearless Love.” Also, Ellen introduces you to another amazing web star that you’ve gotta see -- on today’s Wonderful Web of Wonderment!
Tuesday, August 10
JENNIFER GARNER
It’s been four years since she’s been on the show, now JENNIFER GARNER is back! Last time, she was pregnant with her first child, now she and her husband Ben Affleck have two little girls! And if motherhood weren’t keeping her busy enough, Jennifer was in the movie, “The Invention of Lying.” Then, if you saw Ellen’s TBS special last year, you saw the absolutely hilarious comedian JOE WONG. (And if you didn’t see her TBS special -- how dare you!) He was so great, she’s bringing him on the show today and you’ve got to see him! Ellen also has Scottish musician PAOLO NUTINI on the show. He’ll be performing the hit song “Candy” from his latest album, “Sunny Side Up.”
Wednesday, August 11
COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE
Ellen’s good friend COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE is on the show today! Last time, Courteney told Ellen she didn’t have any stories to share, but we’re sure she’ll have plenty to talk about with her show “Cougar Town”! She’s one of the few people who embrace their age rather than lie about it. Speaking of lies, RICKY GERVAIS is starring in the new movie, “The Invention of Lying.” The hilarious British comedian will be on the show for the first time! (It’s true... we swear!) Also, if you haven’t heard of JESSIE JAMES, you will soon! She’s being compared to Christina Aguilera and Carrie Underwood, but you can decide for yourself when she performs the song “Wanted” from her album.
Thursday, August 12
JIMMY SMITS
Some of Ellen’s favorite guests are stopping by today! First, JIMMY SMITS is here to tell her about his PBS do*****entary, “Latin Music USA.” He’s excited about going to the White House for a concert honoring Hispanic music! Then, Ellen’s good friend T.R. KNIGHT is coming by. It’s been two years since he was last on and a lot has changed for him. He left “Grey’s Anatomy” and performed in the stage musical “Parade.” Ellen can’t wait to hear about it! Also, back when Chris Daughtry was on “American Idol,” Ellen knew he was going to be a big star. Even though he was voted off early, he formed his band DAUGHTRY and is huge! Now they’re here to perform “Life After You” from their CD, “Leave This Town.” And since Ellen likes her groceries to be quadruple-bagged, she has plenty of paper bags lying around. That means it’s a perfect time to play one of her newest games, “I’m Going to Rip Your Face Off!”
Friday, August 13
HILARY DUFF
Ellen recently showed you a hilarious video of a girl recovering from dental surgery -- she was a little loopy from the medication! Her name is Hannah and she had no idea her sister put it online, and she became an internet sensation! Today the two are here to tell the real story! And that may have been a bad video for Hannah, but she’ll be in good company today when a group of audience members show off their hilarious Bad Paid-for Photos! Then, ANDREW GARCIA was a favorite on “Idol” from the beginning, but eventually he was voted off. He’s stopping by today for one last performance. Plus, the world first got to know HILARY DUFF as a young Disney star. Now she’s become a beautiful young woman, and recently starred in the ABC Family movie “Beauty and the Briefcase.” She’s stopping by to tell Ellen what it’s been like growing up in the spotlight -- and staying out of trouble. And ALAN JACKSON is one of the biggest country musicians. He’ll be visiting Ellen for the very first time today and will perform his single, “Just That Way.”

Monday, August 2
AMY POEHLER
Ellen loves AMY POEHLER so much, Amy was here for Ellen’s birthday show last year! Ellen can’t stop laughing whenever Amy is around. Her show “Parks & Recreation” is hilarious, and she’s sure to bring some stories about it. Amy’s son, Archie, is now one, and Ellen is getting all the details from his birthday! Then, you know the funny FRAN DRESCHER from “The Nanny.” Now she’s started her own all-natural skincare line and will be bringing it to show Ellen. As a cancer survivor, Fran is donating a portion of the proceeds to her Cancer Shmancer Foundation. Also, Ellen is playing biggest game of the year! That’s right, it’s Know or Go!
Tuesday, August 3
GEORGE LOPEZ
Today Ellen has a huge surprise for one of her viewers! She’s having a hard time and Ellen has something life-changing planned for her! You won’t want to miss it. Then, Ellen recently got a new neighbor on the Warner Brothers lot. The very funny GEORGE LOPEZ is taping his TBS late-night talk show “Lopez Tonight” -- and Ellen is going to make sure he knows what he’s doing! He’s already made some great decisions -- his very first guest was Ellen. Smart man. Then, after making herself known in “The Princess Bride” and “Forrest Gump,” ROBIN WRIGHT took time off to raise her kids. Now she’s back in full force, starring in several movies, and stopping by to visit Ellen today.
Wednesday, August 4
JENNY MCCARTHY
Ellen had so much fun during her O Magazine photo shoot with Oprah, and today she has some exclusive footage from their day. Then, Ellen’s friend and poker buddy JENNY MCCARTHY is always up for a fun time. Jenny may be notorious for her edgy personality, but she’s also an extremely devoted mother and will tell me all about her new educational DVDs for kids, “Teach2Talk.” Also, you know Ellen loves everything about “So You Think You Can Dance,” including the wonderful CAT DEELEY. She’s here today and they’re gonna talk about everything that's happened. She’s never danced on the show before, so maybe she’ll show us a few moves here!
Thursday, August 5
DWAYNE JOHNSON
You won’t believe the voice of 12-year-old RHAP SALAZAR. Ellen saw a YouTube video of his singing and it blew her away. She’s flying him in all the way from the Philippines. Then, Ellen has helped DWAYNE JOHNSON get over his fear of tarantulas, and last time they worked on his fear of roller coasters. When he’s here to talk about his movie “Planet 51,” she’ll see if there’s anything else we can work on. Just call her Dr. Ellen. Also, with the amount that BRIAN WILLIAMS travels the world while hosting “NBC Nightly News,” Ellen is thrilled that he’s taking the time to be on the show today. He is a funny guy and it’s always great to have him here. Ellen hear he’s a fan of pranks, too. Will he still be a fan if the prank is on him? There’s only one way to find out! Also, you never know who else may drop by the show today, so don’t miss it!
Friday, August 6
JON BON JOVI
Ellen always thought she was good at Ping-Pong... until she saw a YouTube video of XIN-XUE FENG. Xin-Xue is absolutely amazing, and she’s only 7 years old! Ellen was so impressed with her that she’s flying her all the way from China to be here. It’ll be Xin-Xue’s first time on TV. Also, for over 25 years BON JOVI has been one of the top rock bands, selling over 120 million albums -- and they proved that they’ve still got it with their album “The Circle.” Now they’re on the show to perform their new song “We Weren’t Born to Follow,” and Ellen will try to convince them to play one of their classics, too. Ellen will also get a chance to chat with Jon Bon Jovi. Then, KELLY OSBOURNE AND LOUIS VAN AMSTEL made it all the way to the finals of “Dancing with the Stars”! Kelly will share all about her unexpected, life-changing experience, and of course, they’ll perform a dance.

Monday, July 12
TAYLOR SWIFT
TAYLOR SWIFT is absolutely amazing! She’s only 19, but she already has two albums that made it to the Top 10. Even though she’s considered a country singer, her music is on all the radio stations. She’s stopping by to share the success stories with Ellen. Then, Taylor’s very first single was a song called “Tim McGraw,” so who better to have on the show also than TIM MCGRAW?! He just released his new CD and will perform the song “Southern Voice.” But before he does that, Ellen will get a chance to talk with him.
Tuesday, July 13
JUSTIN BIEBER
Today Ellen has one of the biggest giveaways for a home viewer -- someone’s winning a brand new GMC Terrain! Then, today’s audience will be crazy with Bieber Fever when the one and only JUSTIN BIEBER stops by! He was discovered by Usher on YouTube, and in just a few months has become one of the biggest pop musicians in the world! Justin just turned 16, and Ellen can’t wait to see what he’ll do next. If he wants tips on having a huge career, he only needs to talk to QUEEN LATIFAH -- she’s always doing something new! Queen Latifah has been a top rap artist, starred in a musical, released a jazz album, hosted award shows, and now she’s returned to the big screen with her movie “Just Wright,” written specifically for her! She also just hosted “Idol Gives Back,» something she said she wanted to do for years, and will tell Ellen all about it! Plus, everybody is talking about the hilarious photos that just aren’t right, and today Ellen has some of the craziest photos yet. You won’t believe what’s in these photos, but you know there’s something wrong!
Wednesday, July 14
CARRIE UNDERWOOD
She first made her name known when she won “American Idol,” and in just a few years, CARRIE UNDERWOOD has become a country music superstar. Now she’s just released her third album, “Play On,” and it immediately went to #1 on the charts. That’s how I know I’ll be a good “American Idol” judge -- I knew she’d be huge! She’ll perform “Cowboy Casanova° when she’s here. Then, everyone is getting excited for the next Twilight movie “New Moon,” and today the incredibly sexy KELLAN LUTZ drops by. He became a sensation almost overnight and it only takes one look at him to see why! Before he went into acting he used to be a model, so I’ll try to get him to model some Ellen underwear. You can thank me later. Also, I’ve got another huge surprise for one of my viewers -- watch to find out what it is!
Thursday, July 15
EDDIE MURPHY
Ellen has been doing the show for seven years, and in all that time, the outrageous EDDIE MURPHY has never stopped by. Today he’s finally here, and he has some explaining to do! He’s been a busy man; Eddie is the second highest-grossing film actor in history, thanks to his hilarious roles, like Donkey in the new “Shrek Ever After.” No one knows what to expect from him today, but we do know that you don’t want to miss it! Then, CASEY JAMES made it far on “American Idol”, but was eventually voted off. Today he’s stopping by to share the excitement of making it to the top three -- and will give one last amazing performance! Also, from “Sex and the City 2,” JASON LEWIS is here to share all the details. He’s also bringing an exciting gift for a lucky audience member
Friday, July 16
SIMON COWELL
This season, SIMON COWELL helped choose an American Idol for the last time. Today he’ll look back on the last season with Ellen, and she’ll find out what’s next for him! Then, so many people are excited about JACK JOHNSON’s new album -- which reached #1 on iTunes -- months before it was released! He’s here for the first time to sing his hit song, “You and Your Heart.” Also, a few months ago, Ellen and Portia found out about an amazing organization called The Gentle Barn, which rescues farm animals from terrible situations and brings them back to health, while also providing a great learning experience for at-risk kids. Portia recently visited them and brought along some cameras, and today she’ll share the incredible experience with you.

And AARON KELLY from “American Idol” will stop by to sing one more song. Ellen has paramedics standing by in case someone gives birth to the very first Ellen Show baby!
Tuesday, July 6
JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS
Ellen’s All Terrain Game Week is rolling on! Today more audience members compete for a chance to win a brand new GMC Terrain! Ellen has her finger on the censor button today, because her insanely funny WB neighbor JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS is stopping by. She always keeps Ellen on her toes... it seems like every time she’s around, someone gets hit in the face with a rock! Then, before CORY MONTEITH was on “Glee,” he had virtually every odd job possible -- including store greeter and school bus driver! Now he’s on the hit show and turning into a huge star, and will tell Ellen all about the excitement. Also, Ellen once got the chance to rock out with SLASH, so why can’t her friend ADAM LEVINE? The Maroon 5 frontman teamed up with the guitarist on his latest album, “Slash,” and today they’re both stopping by to perform the song “Gotten.” Plus, Ellen has put together some of her favorite moments from the show, and you’ll love it!
Wednesday, July 7
TERI HATCHER
It’s here! Today is the huge finale of Ellen’s exciting All Terrain Game Week. Ellen’s audience members have been competing for the chance to win the Grand Prize -- and today the finalists battle it out one last time! One of them will win a brand new GMC Terrain! The competition is fierce here, but it’s just as intense on “American Idol”! MICHAEL LYNCHE is stopping by to tell Ellen what it’s like to make it all the way to the Final Four -- and will give a performance you won’t forget! Then, TERI HATCHER has been married four times, been in a car accident, had her house burned down, and even shot a neighbor... all on “Desperate Housewives,” that is! It’s not ending there; they’ve been renewed for two more seasons and she’s here to tell Ellen about the excitement in store. In real life, Teri is lots of fun. Ellen has even played matchmaker for her, but Teri didn’t take her suggestion! Maybe she’ll listen to Ellen’s great suggestions today! Also, Ellen has been getting tweets from the popular band PARAMORE. They wanted to perform on the show -- and Ellen didn’t hesitate to say yes! They’ll perform a song from their latest hit album, “Brand New Eyes.”
Thursday, July 8
STEVE CARELL
Summer is finally here! Today Ellen gives you a sneak preview of all the exciting summer movies -- with some of her favorite guests! She'll be certain to look behind her chair before STEVE CARELL drops by -- the last time he was here he did this. In addition to being the only one who has ever scared Ellen, no one can make her laugh like Steve, and she never knows what to expect from him! Steve is both a huge television star AND movie star, and now he has a new movie out this summer, “Despicable Me.” Then, another one of the most anticipated summer films is the next chapter in the Twilight series, “Eclipse,” and NIKKI REED is starring in it. The lucky actress gets to act with gorgeous guys Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz, and she'll tell Ellen all about it! Ellen also has a huge surprise for one lucky audience member -- tickets to the “Eclipse” premiere! And, it's hard to think of two bigger legends in music than JAMES TAYLOR and CAROLE KING, and it doesn't get better than the two of them together! Their summer tour is sold out, but you can see them right here on the show. They'll sing one of their hit songs from their new album, “Live at the Troubadour.”

CHRIS O’DONNELL
There’s nothing worse than a Bad Paid-For Photo, but there’s nothing better than bringing one to Ellen! She’s got another group of audience members showing off their hilarious photos -- and you’ll get to see how they’ve changed! CHRIS O’DONNELL hasn’t changed -- he’s always been a great actor! He’s also quite the family man with five young kids. If that weren’t keeping him busy enough, he’s also in “NCIS: Los Angeles” -- and will share all the details with Ellen. Also, “The Bachelor” was full of scandals and surprises, but no one can forget last season when Jason proposed to MELISSA RYCROFT -- and then changed his mind! She revealed everything in the “20/20” special, “Inside the Bachelor: The Stories Behind the Rose,” but not before visiting Ellen first! Plus, Ellen has more behind-the-scenes fun from “American Idol”!
Tuesday, June 22
KIRSTIE ALLEY
She was on one of the most successful sitcoms ever, but now everyone seems to focus only on KIRSTIE ALLEY’s weight. That’s fine with her, because she’s starring in a hilarious reality show where she opens up about her struggle and vows to get healthier! Fortunately, Kirstie won’t get fired from her own show, like CYNDI LAUPER was fired from “Celebrity Apprentice.” She is here to share all the behind-the-scenes details with Ellen. And from one of the biggest shows of the year, MATTHEW MORRISON is dropping by to tell Ellen everything about “Glee!”
Wednesday, June 23
HOWIE MANDEL
Katie Stevens made it far on “American Idol,” but she was eventually eliminated. Now she’s here to give one last performance after chatting with Ellen! Now that Ellen has been a judge for a while, she’ll have a lot of tips for HOWIE MANDEL. He’s a judge on “America’s Got Talent” and he’s sure to have everybody laughing. Howie has always appreciated gifts from Ellen -- especially the hermetically sealed inflatable ball he can walk around in! Then, we’ve watched TORI SPELLING & DEAN MCDERMOTT’s relationship grow through some tough times on their reality show, and today they're stopping by to give us a sneak peek at what’s happening on the latest season! With two young kids, there’s sure to be drama. And this season of “Dancing with the Stars” began with a surprise elimination, so none of the contestants feel safe -- including *****cat Dolls lead singer NICOLE SCHERZINGER and her partner, DEREK HOUGH. They’ll show Ellen they’ve got what it takes to win -- when they perform right here.
Thursday, June 24
WANDA SYKES
Today is all about the Earth, and Ellen is dedicating her show to our planet -- and you! The hilarious WANDA SYKES is here for the 10th time, and Ellen is ready to celebrate the occasion. Wanda’s twin babies just turned one year old, and we’re sure she has her hands full! Then, EVAN LYSACEK has brought his gold-medal-winning skating moves to the dance floor -- and makes it look easy. He has a great partner in ANNA TREBUNSKAYA, and they’re stopping by to chat with Ellen and perform a dance. Also, a lot of contestants were voted off “American Idol” this past season, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road for them. They only need to look at former contestant JASON CASTRO, who is about to release his debut album. He’ll stop by to perform his hit song, “That’s What I’m Here For.” And you’ll want to pay attention to Ellen’s tweets. You may find yourself talking with Ellen live -- and winning huge prizes
Friday, June 25
JENNIFER LOPEZ
After the last time JENNIFER LOPEZ was here, Ellen might need to start padding the set! We’ll see if she trips when she visits today to talk about her movie, “The Back-Up Plan.” She’s also focusing a lot on being a mother -- her twins are already two! Then, for the first time ever, the incredible NORAH JONES is stopping by. She’s performing a song from her latest CD, “The Fall.” Also, the very cute TIM URBAN was a fan favorite on “American Idol,” but was eventually voted off. He’ll be here today to chat with Ellen and perform. Then, Ellen is always looking for the next best game, and she may have found it! Today she’s introducing a hilarious new game that might be the most fun -- and most complicated -- ever!
