CHRISTIAN SLATER
It’s the first show of the 2010, and Ellen has a lot of plans for this year! Last month, she loved doing 12 Days of Giveaways so much, she’s been looking around to see if there are any more gifts to surprise today’s audience. You’ll have to watch to find out if she got her hands on anything! Then, the very handsome CHRISTIAN SLATER will drop by to tell Ellen all about his holidays. He recently turned 40 and he’s looking great -- especially in his show, “The Forgotten.” And last month, RUSSELL FERGUSON won “So You Think You Can Dance,” now he’s here to tell Ellen what his plans are -- and to show off his prize-winning moves! Also, music legends RICKIE LEE JONES & BEN HARPER have teamed up to create the beautiful song “Old Enough,” and they’ll both be here to perform. Don’t miss it!

HELEN MIRREN
One of Ellen’s all-time favorite kids is back! The incredibly talented EMILY BEAR will update everyone on what she’s doing, and will treat us all to an amazing performance at the piano. She’s composed new songs just for Ellen, so you’ll want to see what she brings this time! Then, she won an Academy Award for her role as the Queen of England, now HELEN MIRREN is playing the wife of Leo Tolstoy in the new movie, “The Station.” It’s her first time on the show, so Ellen will make sure she doesn’t forget it! Also, you’ve been hearing the hit song “TiK ToK” for months, but you may not know who sings it. It’s the first single from KE$HA, and her debut CD, “Animal,” is out today. To celebrate, she’s here to perform for everyone.

QUEEN LATIFAH
Tonight is the People’s Choice Awards, -- and Ellen is nominated for Favorite TV Talk Show! Tune in to find out who wins. Today’s show is Ellen’s choice -- Ellen chose to have QUEEN LATIFAH here. She’ll stop by the show today before her fourth time hosting the awards, and this is her tenth time on Ellen -- she’s always a lot of fun. Then, fun is just one of the many, many words that can describe RICHARD SIMMONS. He’s releasing the fifth volume of his popular “Sweating to the Oldies” -- and will do a demo for everyone! Who knows what else he’ll do?! No one ever does! And today it’s time for another try at the hilarious game, “I’m Gonna Rip Your Face Off”!

WANDA SYKES
You’ve seen an absolutely adorable 5-year-old girl in several commercials, including one with Justin Timberlake and Peyton Manning. Her name is KYLIE KIM, and she’ll be here to tell Ellen what it was like to work with those two amazing guys. She is so cute, you won’t want to miss it! Then, one of Ellen’s favorite guests, WANDA SYKES, has been here for some of the best shows! She’s been here for Halloween, Park Shows, and even Ellen’s birthday. So with all that experience, Wanda is all set for her own talk show, “The Wanda Sykes Show.” She and Ellen will chat about all the things talk show hosts talk about. Which is a lot. You also won’t want to miss today’s group of audience members -- they’ll be showing off their amazing hidden talents!

JACKIE CHAN
Just like Ellen, JACKIE CHAN does all his own stunts! He shows what he’s got in the new movie, “Spy Next Door,” and will be dropping by to chat with Ellen today. Ellen will make sure to hide the expensive china -- last time he broke her vases! She broke something too… a bottle over his head! Then, you know ANNA KENDRICK from the “Twilight” movies, now she’s co-starring with none other than George Clooney in the amazing new film, “Up in the Air.” When she visits Ellen today, the two will be able to swap their favorite Clooney stories!

MARIAH CAREY
By now you probably know I love the movie “Precious.” If you didn’t -- you do now! Everyone in it is absolutely amazing, and many of them are in a role totally opposite their public image, including MARIAH CAREY. You will barely recognize her! I can’t wait to hear all about the experience. She’ll also be telling me about her new CD, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” Then, I read a book by JONATHAN SAFRAN FOER called “Eating Animals,” and I just had to share it with you. He’ll be here to talk to me about his experience writing it. In the book, he evaluates his own attitudes about nutrition and diet, and examines the attitudes society has about eating meat. He found out some amazing facts that you might not know about your food, so you’ll want to hear what he has to say. Also, I decided to feature some of the dancers from this past season of “So You Think You Can Dance,” so, I’ll have a few of the dancers right here.

ROBERT PATTINSON
Today is the day! He’s here, the hottest man on the planet right now -- ROBERT PATTINSON! The gorgeous guy has been stealing the hearts of women across the world since he played the vampire Edward in “Twilight”. Now he’s in the sequel “New Moon” and is being literally mobbed everywhere he goes. Today he’s coming here and I can’t wait! Also, earlier this year I met a 13-year-old fiddler named JUSTUS RIVERA after Ashton Kutcher tweeted about him. He’s self-taught and plays on the streets of Philadelphia to help support his family. You have to see him to believe it.

DAKOTA FANNING
I’ve been watching DAKOTA FANNING grow into a beautiful young woman over the years, and I feel like I’m responsible for her success. She once played a younger version of me on my sitcom -- and now she’s in one of the biggest movies of the year, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” She gets to work with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner... I’m sure she’ll thank me when she’s on the show today. Then, I have some huge surprises for my home viewers -- you won’t want to miss what I’ve got planned for today! I’ll give you a hint: it involves a lot of dough. Also I’ll make sure to tweet SEAN “DIDDY” COMBS before he arrives. He was the one who introduced me to Twitter -- and now I have almost 4 million followers! I once made him try to identify his Ciroc Vodka in a blind taste test. He got drunk. He still got it right though. Now they've introduced Ciroc Coconut and Ciroc Red Berry -- I wonder what will happen if I make him taste test both flavors.

BON JOVI
I always thought I was good at Ping-Pong... until I saw a YouTube video of XIN-XUE FENG. She is absolutely amazing, and she’s only 7 years old! I was so impressed with her that we’re flying her all the way from China to show you what she can do. Also, for over 25 years BON JOVI has been one of the top rock bands, selling over 120 million albums -- and they proved that they‘ve still got it with their album “The Circle.” Now they’re on my show to perform their single “We Weren’t Born to Follow,” and I’ll see if I can convince them to play one of their classics, too. Then I’ll get a chance to talk to Jon Bon Jovi and I want to hear everything! Then, KELLY OSBOURNE AND LOUIS VAN AMSTEL made it all the way to the finals of “Dancing With the Stars” this season! Kelly will tell me all about her unexpected life-changing experience and, of course, they'll perform a dance for us.

JENNIFER GARNER
It’s been four years since she came back to the show, now JENNIFER GARNER is here again! Last time, she was pregnant with her first child, now she and her husband Ben Affleck have two little girls! And if motherhood weren't keeping her busy enough, Jennifer is in the movie, “The Invention of Lying.” Also, if you saw my TBS special this summer, you saw the absolutely hilarious comedian JOE WONG. (And if you didn’t see my TBS special -- how dare you!) He was so great, I’m bringing him on the show today and you've got to see him! I also have Scottish musician PAOLO NUTINI on the show. He’ll be performing the hit song “Candy” from his album “Sunny Side Up.”

JENNIFER ANISTON
JENNIFER ANISTON was the very first guest I had on my show -- now my friend is coming back! She was in the movie "Love Happens," so naturally I'll see if any love is happening in her life! If not, the last time she was on she made a few comments about one of my staff members... maybe I'll try to make that work out! Then, they normally don't perform on talk shows -- but DAVE MATTHEWS BAND will be right here and I can't wait! They'll be performing "You and Me" from their #1 album, "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King." I'm making it extra special by having a big outdoor concert!!

JOHN TRAVOLTA
A few weeks ago, I drove all the way to Chicago to appear on Oprah's show, and today I'll show you everything that happened on my way there. Then, JOHN TRAVOLTA isn't doing any talk shows -- except mine -- so it will be a special day today. He's been through a lot in the last year and I can't wait to see him, tell him how much I love him, and then laugh with him. He's in the movie "Old Dogs," along with his 9-year-old daughter ELLA BLEU TRAVOLTA! It's her first time acting, and I bet it was fun to act with her dad. She'll be here with her father, and I'm excited to talk to the two of them together. Also, I'll be playing a big game with even bigger prizes!

CARRIE UNDERWOOD
She first made her name known when she won "American Idol," and in just a few years, CARRIE UNDERWOOD has become a country music superstar. Now her third album, "Play On," is out -- and it immediately went to #1 on the charts. That's how I know I'll be a good "American Idol" judge -- I knew she'd be huge! She'll perform "Cowboy Casanova" when she's here. Then, everyone loved the second Twilight movie, "New Moon," and today the incredibly sexy KELLAN LUTZ drops by. He became a sensation almost overnight, and it only takes one look at him to see why! Before he went into acting he used to be a model, so I'll try to get him to model some Ellen underwear. You can thank me later. Also, I've got another huge surprise for one of my viewers -- watch to find out what it is!

JIM CARREY
There is really no way to describe my friend JIM CARREY. He's one of the funniest and most genuine people I know, and when he's around, I just can't stop laughing! He's on the show today and I have no idea what to expect. He's in the Disney movie "A Christmas Carol," and I've heard he's been doing some interesting publicity for it. I guess I'll find out when he's here. Also today, I'll play one of my favorite games: Blindfolded Musical Chairs! And, I've got a great new way to give out cash to my audience -- with a cannon! Then, the gorgeous FAITH HILL is coming by to tell me what's been happening since she was last here. She released a fragrance, "Faith Hill Parfums," and will tell me all about it (I know there are notes involved -- or I may be thinking about her music again). Her husband, Tim McGraw, was on the show recently -- they celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary! I'm not surprised they've been married so long, he's a smart guy -- he told me he doesn't even bother fighting with her since he knows he'll lose!

KATHERINE HEIGL
KATHERINE HEIGL starts off the show today! She's got a lot going on right now and always gives an interview you won't want to miss! Then, my boo NICK CANNON is coming by. I love this guy so much, he was the DJ for my TBS special this summer. (I'm sure you already knew that!) He is doing well for himself -- he's married to Mariah Carey, is the host of "America's Got Talent," and is the chairman of the Nickelodeon channel TEENick! Then... when I was 7, I put a nickel up my nose, but 7-year-old PRESTON SCARBOROUGH led police on a high speed chase! Now he's coming here to tell me all about it, but this time we're going to leave the driving to his parents!

RAY ROMANO

Today is going to be a great day! To start things off, Ellen's friend JOHN MAYER is here. He's one of the most amazing musicians -- and has 7 Grammys to prove it! Well, now he has only 6-and-a-half Grammys. One year, he thought Alicia Keyes should have won, so he broke his award in half and gave her part. How could you not love a guy like that? You'll also love his new song, "Heartbreak Warfare" -- which he'll perform today. And if having John Mayer weren't enough, today is Day 9 of 12 Days of Giveaways, and as always, you have a chance to win at home. Ellen also has another great gift for you -- the Top 6 dancers from "So You Think You Can Dance"!
